A car marketplace run by people who rent cars.

Kapi started inside a small rental business. Riddhi Rides LLC rents cars in Greater Boston, and running it taught us what guests find frustrating: prices that grow at checkout, slow answers, and damage disputes with no clear rules.

So we built the marketplace we wanted to rent from. The price you see already includes our trip fee. Checkout lists every charge before you pay. A person reviews every driver’s license. And a damage claim needs evidence that you can see and answer.

KAPI LLC runs the Kapi Cars website. We list cars, verify guests, take payment, handle support and run the damage-claim process. We do not own the cars or set their prices.

Each car belongs to a host, who sets the price and handles keys and pickup. Riddhi Rides LLC is our first host. Every new host applies first, and we review each one before a car can be listed.

We earn money the same way for every host, Riddhi Rides included: a guest trip fee, which is already in the price you see, and a commission from the host’s payout.

• Clear prices. The daily price includes the trip fee. Taxes are added at checkout, where every line is shown before you pay.
• Verified people. Every guest confirms their email and phone and has their license reviewed. Every host is approved before listing.
• Fair claims. Damage claims need photos and an itemized estimate, and you can dispute them.
• Real support. Email support@kapicars.com and a person answers.

Kapi (Sanskrit कपि) is a name of Hanuman, who carried a mountain across the sea to help a friend. Our logo is that mountain, held up by an open hand. It is a reminder of the job: get you where you are going, and carry the hard parts for you.
