KAPI requires all guests to have valid insurance coverage before renting.

For Guests (Rentals):

  • Guests must provide proof of insurance covering both collision and liability.

  • We recommend checking with your personal auto insurance for additional rental coverage.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to the vehicle, as well as any third-party liability (damage to other vehicles, property, or persons) during the rental period.

For Leases:

  • As a lessee, you can obtain your own insurance policy for the vehicle.
  • We can help you find and get insurance for your leased vehicle.
  • Proof of insurance must be provided before the lease begins.

For Hosts:

  • Hosts are responsible for maintaining valid insurance on their vehicles that covers rentals.
